studios

Each studio is a new realm of possibility. Explore them with us here.

In the arts, studios act as creative, generative, open spaces for producing a vision. Ours are no different. The work that comes out of our studios are self-led projects with generous external funders and supporters.

Feminist Co-Leadership

We are documenting co-leadership experiences and designing creative and practical tools to support different practices of co leaders in feminist organisations and beyond. Check out our mixed media website with our flagship research interviewing 20+ leaders and practitioners, tool gallery with 25+ exercises, stories library and community marketplace featuring our unique Curiosa Cards - the first Oracle Card Deck for co-leadership.

Music of Our Movements

From peaceful ballads to visceral roars, our social justice movements have always incorporated music, songs, rhythmic movement and dance. It is a language that transcends generations and geographies; it holds space, creates community and demands attention. This project both documents and amplifies songs of solidarity and resistance, inviting groups of all ages to engage with the art, and leaving them energised and inspired for the work ahead. We are grateful to AWID for their support to catalyse this work

Participation and Power with Girls and Young Feminists

Weaving intergenerational learning, experimentation and practice in partnership with girls, young feminists and sister organizations. This studio aims to contribute a healthy ecosystem for resourcing and building power with girls and young feminists movements.

Documenting learning through art with young feminists, accompanying funders with their participatory and meaningful youth engagement work, piloting direct accompaniment with young feminists on their leadership practices, transitions and more.

Remember Who Made Them

Remember Who Made Them is a six-part podcast series, digital campaign and fundraiser that aims to help energise a new solidarity economy in fashion:

An economy that centres the health and wellbeing of workers over corporate profits. An economy that cares about the social and environmental impact of the clothes we buy. And an economy that builds power in the communities where our clothes are made. Remember Who Made Them is a completed studio project and you can join our online community to take action. We are grateful to our generous Patreon community for powering this work as well as Fashion Revolution, shado Magazine, and London College of Fashion for their support and collaboration.

Lost and Found in Transition

Lost and Found in Transition brings collective knowledge, with a flagship publication to be launched later this year and ‘brave space’ and accompaniment for feminist leaders in a moment of personal and professional transition. Our intention is to learn, reflect and create feminist transition guidance that can offer belonging and a much-needed mutual support network for leaders who have recently stepped out. We also aim to shape the organisational change field with feminist innovations.

Children’s Books

The stories we tell our children matter. The books we create centre and celebrate social justice movements around the world. Each uses narrative truth and transporting artwork to share with young people the power, joy and possibilities in solidarity.
